Our timber sourcing policy:

We source all of our timber with the environment in mind. All of our wood is locally or Scottish sourced, from only sustainable sources, usually harvested in small amounts. Much of our timber comes from smaller local land owners allowing them to sell wood that would otherwise end up being left in the woodlands to rot of sold for firewood, providing less or no income.

It is usually also not commercially viable for larger companies to harvest timber from such woodlands without more or less completely destroying the habitat. We take pride on helping our local economy and environment and take measures wherever we can to ensure that we have woodlands that are sustainably managed and can be used to provide timber in the long term, while still improving the quality of them to provide even better habitat for our local wildlife.

OUR NEW SoS EcoPanel FOR INTERPRETATION

SoS EcoPanel is manufactured from phenolic resin impregnated kraft using a high pressure and thermo-hardening process. Despite being predominantly a paper product, the resin impregnation and thermo-forming gives it full impermeability to water and the outside elements – there will be no ingress through the edges and can be used under water in aquaria. SoS EcoPanel is our 100% recyclable product
